Material

The material of stamping elbow includes carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel and other materials. Carbon steel stamping elbows are cheap and used in large quantities. The alloy steel elbow is used in a special position.

Stainless steel
The main difference between stainless steel stamping elbows and carbon steel elbows is the difference in material. The chemical composition contained in the elbow will keep the surface of the elbow from rust for a long time and is not easy to be corroded.

Stainless steel is a steel with stainless steel and corrosion resistance as its main characteristics, with a chromium content of at least 10.5% and a maximum carbon content of 1.2%.

The ferritic stainless steel matrix is ​​mainly a ferrite structure (α phase) with a body-centered cubic crystal structure, which is magnetic and generally cannot be hardened by heat treatment, but it is a stainless steel that can be slightly strengthened by cold working.

The matrix of martensitic stainless steel is a martensite structure, which is magnetic, and its mechanical properties can be adjusted by heat treatment.
