Hot Rolled T-Shaped Steel
T-shaped steel is a kind of steel cast into a T-shape. It is named because its cross-section is the same as the English letter "T". There are two types of T-shaped steel: 1. T-shaped steel is directly split from H-shaped steel. The use standard is the same as that of H-shaped steel (GB/T11263-2017). It is an ideal material to replace double-angle steel welding. It has the advantages of strong bending resistance, simple construction, cost saving and light structure. 2. The T-shaped steel formed by hot rolling at one time is mainly used in machinery and filling small hardware steel.

The T-shaped steel code corresponds to the H-shaped steel. TW, TM, and TN are used to represent wide-flange T-shaped steel, mid-flange T-shaped steel, and narrow-flange T-shaped steel, respectively. The expression method is also the same as that of H-shaped steel. The expression method is: height H width B web thickness t1 wing plate thickness t2.
The expression method of hot-rolled T-shaped steel: the expression method is: height H*width B*web thickness t1*wing plate thickness t2.
