technological process

Process flow of hot-dip galvanized channel steel: raw material inspection → pickling → cleaning → zinc assistance → drying → galvanizing → cooling → passivation → cleaning → finished product inspection → inspection and packaging, etc.

According to custom, the hot-dip galvanizing process is often divided into two categories: off-line annealing and in-line annealing according to different pretreatment methods.

Product features

(1) It has a thick and dense pure zinc layer covering the steel surface, which can avoid the contact between the steel matrix and any corrosion solution and protect the steel matrix from corrosion. In the general atmosphere, a thin and dense zinc oxide layer is formed on the surface of the zinc layer, which is difficult to dissolve in water, so it plays a certain protective role on the steel matrix. If zinc oxide forms insoluble zinc salt with other components in the atmosphere, the anti-corrosion effect is more ideal.

(2) It has iron zinc alloy layer, dense combination, and shows unique corrosion resistance in marine salt spray atmosphere and industrial atmosphere;

(3) Due to the firm combination and mutual solubility of zinc and iron, it has strong wear resistance;

(4) Because zinc has good ductility and its alloy layer is firmly attached to the steel base, hot-dip plated parts can be formed by cold stamping, rolling, wire drawing, bending and so on without damaging the coating;

(5) After hot-dip galvanizing of steel structure, it is equivalent to one-time annealing treatment, which can effectively improve the mechanical properties of steel matrix, eliminate the stress during steel forming and welding, and is conducive to turning of steel structure.

(6) The surface of hot-dip galvanized parts is bright and beautiful.

(7) Pure zinc layer is the most plastic zinc layer in hot-dip galvanizing. Its properties are basically close to pure zinc and have ductility, so it is flexible.
