Surface treatment method:
1. Cleaning
Solvents and emulsions are used to clean the surface of steel to remove oil, grease, dust, smoothing agent and similar organic matter, but it cannot remove rust, oxide scale, welding flux, etc. on the surface of steel, so it is only used as an auxiliary measure in anti-corrosion production.
2. Tools to remove rust
First, use wire brushes and other tools to polish the surface of the steel, which can remove loose or warped oxide scale, rust, welding slag, etc. The rust removal of hand tools can reach the Sa2 level, and the power tools can reach the Sa3 level.
3. Pickling
Generally, two methods of chemical and electrolysis are used for pickling. Pipeline anticorrosion only uses chemical pickling, which can remove oxide scale, rust, and old coatings. Sometimes it can be used as sandblasting and rust removal. Chemical cleaning can certainly make the appearance reach a certain degree of cleanliness and roughness, but its anchor pattern is shallow, and it is easy to pollute the situation.
4. Spraying (throwing) to remove rust
Spraying (throwing) rust removal is the high-powered motor drives the spraying (throwing) blades to rotate at a high speed, so that the steel grit, steel shot, iron wire section, minerals and other abrasives are sprayed (thrown) on the surface of the steel pipe under the effect of centrifugal force. , Not only can completely eliminate rust, oxides and dirt, but also the steel pipe can reach the required average roughness under the effect of the fierce impact and friction of the abrasive.
After spraying (throwing) to remove the rust, not only can the physical adsorption effect of the pipe surface be expanded, but also the mechanical adhesion effect of the anti-corrosion layer and the pipe surface can be strengthened. Therefore, spray (throwing) rust removal is an ideal rust removal method for pipeline anticorrosion. Generally speaking, shot blasting (sand) rust removal is mainly used for the internal and external surface treatment of the pipe, and shot blasting (sand) rust removal is mainly used for the surface treatment of the pipe.
